The Cable One-Arm Preacher Curl is an isolation exercise targeting the biceps, promoting hypertrophy and strength. It is performed with a cable machine and preacher curl bench, allowing for consistent tension throughout the movement and emphasizing the biceps' peak contraction.
How to do it
- Adjust the seat and arm pad on the preacher curl machine so your arm can rest comfortably.
- Position yourself with your armpit snug against the bench and grab the cable handle with your palm facing up.
- Slowly curl the handle towards your shoulder, engaging your bicep fully.
- Pause briefly at the top of the movement for maximum contraction.
- Lower the handle back to the start position with control.
