The Cable One-Arm Preacher Curl is an isolation exercise targeting the biceps, promoting hypertrophy and strength. It is performed with a cable machine and preacher curl bench, allowing for consistent tension throughout the movement and emphasizing the biceps' peak contraction.

How to do it

  1. Adjust the seat and arm pad on the preacher curl machine so your arm can rest comfortably.
  2. Position yourself with your armpit snug against the bench and grab the cable handle with your palm facing up.
  3. Slowly curl the handle towards your shoulder, engaging your bicep fully.
  4. Pause briefly at the top of the movement for maximum contraction.
  5. Lower the handle back to the start position with control.
