The cable triceps kickback is an exercise targeting the triceps muscles, enhancing arm definition and strength. Performed using a cable machine, it allows for a controlled motion that effectively isolates the triceps.

How to do it

  1. Attach a single handle to a low cable pulley.
  2. Stand facing the cable machine with a slight forward lean, and grasp the handle with one hand.
  3. Keep your upper arm stationary and extend your elbow to push the handle back.
  4. Pause briefly at the end, then slowly return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps and switch arms.
