The Body-Up exercise is a dynamic push-up variation that targets the triceps, building upper body strength and stability. The participant begins in a plank position and combines a push-up with an upward body lift, engaging core and arm muscles intensely.
How to do it
- Begin in a plank position with forearms on the ground and body straight.
- Engage your core, keep elbows close to your body, and prepare to push upward.
- Push through your palms to extend your arms, lifting your body into a straight-arm plank.
- Reverse the movement by bending your elbows to return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining control throughout.
