The Cable Alternate Triceps Extension is an isolation exercise targeting the triceps. It helps in building strength and definition in the triceps muscles. The exercise is typically performed using a cable machine, allowing for continuous tension throughout the movement.

How to do it

  1. Stand upright in front of a cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Grasp the cable handle with one hand and extend your arm fully above your head.
  3. Slowly lower the handle behind your head by bending your elbow, keeping the upper arm stationary.
  4. Extend your arm back to the starting position, engaging the triceps.
  5. Alternate arms and repeat for the desired number of reps.
