The Barbell Close-Grip Larsen Press is a bench press variant that emphasizes arm and chest development, with a focus on the triceps. Unlike the standard bench press, the feet are kept off the ground to increase upper body stability requirements.

How to do it

  1. Lie on a bench with your feet elevated and hold a barbell with a close grip.
  2. Lower the barbell to your chest, keeping your elbows close to your body.
  3. Press the barbell back to the starting position, fully extending your arms.
