The Cable Lying Extension Pullover with a rope attachment is an isolation exercise that targets the upper body. It primarily strengthens the triceps brachii by extending the elbows while engaging the latissimus dorsi during the pulling motion.
How to do it
- Lie on a bench, feet flat on the floor, and hold a rope attached to a low cable pulley machine.
- Extend your arms upward, keeping a slight bend in the elbows, and align the rope over your chest.
- Slowly lower the rope behind your head, maintaining control and slight elbow bend.
- Pull the rope back to the starting position using your triceps and lats.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
