The Cable Forward Raise is an exercise that targets the anterior deltoids, promoting shoulder strength and definition. It involves lifting a cable handle upward from the thigh to shoulder level while maintaining tension in the cable throughout the movement.
How to do it
- Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Grasp the cable handle with one hand, keeping the arm slightly bent.
- Engage the core and lift the handle forward and upward until it reaches shoulder height.
- Pause briefly at the top, then slowly lower the handle back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch arms.
