The Bulgarian Split Squat is an effective lower body exercise targeting unilateral strength. By elevating one foot on a bench, it challenges balance and stability, aiding in muscle imbalance correction. It's excellent for building strength in the legs and enhancing athletic performance.

How to do it

  1. Stand a few feet in front of a bench, facing away.
  2. Rest the top of one foot on the bench behind you.
  3. Lower your hips towards the floor by bending your front knee.
  4. Push through the heel of your front foot to return to the starting position.
  5. Maintain a straight torso throughout the movement.
