The Svend Press involves pressing a weight forward while keeping it squeezed between your palms. This exercise primarily targets the chest, especially enhancing muscle definition and endurance. It's a simple but effective workout for improving upper body strength and stability.

How to do it

  1. Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart and hold a bottle between your palms at chest level.
  2. Press the bottle hard between your palms to engage your chest muscles.
  3. Extend your arms forward straight out in front of you, keeping the pressure on the bottle.
  4. Slowly bring the bottle back to your chest, maintaining pressure between your palms.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, keeping muscles engaged throughout.
