The bottle weighted sumo squat is an exercise that targets the lower body by using a wide stance. It emphasizes inner thigh muscles while engaging the glutes and quadriceps. Performing this exercise can improve strength and stability in the lower body.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet wider than shoulder-width apart, toes slightly pointed outward.
  2. Hold a bottle with both hands in front of you, arms hanging straight down.
  3. Lower your body by bending your knees and pushing hips back, keeping chest up.
  4. Descend until thighs are parallel to the ground.
  5. Press through your heels to return to the starting position.
