The bent-over tricep kickback is a strength training exercise that primarily targets the triceps. This variation uses a bottle as a weight, making it a practical option for home workouts. The exercise also engages the stabilizing muscles of the back and core, promoting overall upper body strength.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet hip-width apart, place one hand on a bench for support.
  2. Hold a weighted bottle in the other hand, bend forward at the hips.
  3. Keep the back straight, elbow at 90 degrees, arm close to the body.
  4. Extend the arm fully backward by straightening the elbow.
  5. Pause, then slowly return to the starting position.
