The standing straight arm chest fly targets the chest muscles using bodyweight. It enhances muscle definition in the pectoral region while improving shoulder stability and arm mobility. This exercise is performed without additional weights, relying solely on body movement.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, arms extended to the sides at shoulder height.
- Engage the core and keep the chest lifted.
- Slowly bring your arms together in front of you, maintaining straight arms.
- Squeeze the chest at the peak of the movement.
- Return to the starting position, keeping control, and repeat.
