The Dumbbell Larsen Press is a bench exercise that enhances upper body strength by focusing on the chest and triceps while engaging the core for stability. It combines the benefits of a bench press with the emphasis on keeping the legs slightly elevated, reducing lower body drive to target the upper body.

How to do it

  1. Lie flat on a bench, holding dumbbells with arms extended directly above the chest.
  2. Engage your core and lift your feet slightly off the ground, keeping legs straight.
  3. Lower the dumbbells slowly to chest level with controlled movement.
  4. Press the dumbbells back up to the starting position, maintaining balance.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
