The Bodyweight Kneeling Hold to Stand is a lower body exercise that enhances balance and strength. It involves transitioning from a kneeling position to standing, engaging various leg muscles, primarily the quadriceps and glutes.

How to do it

  1. Start in a tall kneeling position with your back straight and core engaged.
  2. Place one foot forward into a half-kneeling position, keeping the knee aligned with the toes.
  3. Push through the front foot to stand up, bringing the back foot forward to meet the other.
  4. Return to the starting position by stepping back and lowering into the kneeling position.
  5. Repeat, alternating legs to ensure balanced development.
