The Bodyweight Kneeling Hold to Stand is a lower body exercise that enhances balance and strength. It involves transitioning from a kneeling position to standing, engaging various leg muscles, primarily the quadriceps and glutes.
How to do it
- Start in a tall kneeling position with your back straight and core engaged.
- Place one foot forward into a half-kneeling position, keeping the knee aligned with the toes.
- Push through the front foot to stand up, bringing the back foot forward to meet the other.
- Return to the starting position by stepping back and lowering into the kneeling position.
- Repeat, alternating legs to ensure balanced development.
