Lever hip extension is an exercise executed on a leverage machine primarily targeting the gluteus maximus. It involves extending the hip against resistance, which enhances strength and muscle activation in the posterior chain.

How to do it

  1. Position yourself face down on the leverage machine.
  2. Align your hip joint with the pivot point of the machine.
  3. Place your ankle against the platform or lever.
  4. Extend your hip by pushing the lever upwards.
  5. Slowly return to the starting position and repeat.
