The bent-over twist is an exercise that targets the obliques and improves core stability. It involves twisting the torso while maintaining a bent-over position, engaging the core to maintain balance.

How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and bend forward at the hips.
  2. Hold a stick or similar object across your shoulders.
  3. Twist your torso to one side, engaging your obliques.
  4. Return to the center, then twist to the opposite side.
  5. Repeat the movement, maintaining a stable lower body.
