How to do it

  1. Place the balls of your feet on a step with your heels hanging off.
  2. Position a barbell across your upper back, holding it securely with your hands.
  3. Engage your core and keep your back straight.
  4. Raise your heels as high as possible by extending your ankles.
  5. Slowly lower your heels back down to the starting position.
