The barbell snatch balance is a dynamic exercise that helps improve explosive power, stability, and coordination. It targets the muscles of the shoulders, legs, and core, enhancing balance and strength, particularly useful for Olympic weightlifting.
How to do it
- Position the barbell on your upper back with feet shoulder-width apart.
- With a quick dip at the knees, explosively extend to drive the bar overhead.
- Drop swiftly into a squat position as you lock the bar overhead.
- Stand up from the squat to complete the movement.
- Lower the bar back to the starting position and repeat.
