The Barbell Seated Twist on a Stability Ball is a core-strengthening exercise that targets the obliques and improves overall core stability. Performing the twist while seated on a stability ball enhances balance and engages additional muscle groups.
How to do it
- Sit on a balance ball and hold a barbell across your upper back with both hands.
- Engage your core and sit up straight with your feet flat on the floor.
- Slowly twist your torso to one side as far as comfortably possible.
- Return to the center, then twist to the opposite side.
- Repeat the movement, maintaining controlled breathing and form.
