This exercise combines a barbell pullover with a press, targeting both chest and arm muscles while also engaging the shoulders and core for stabilization. It is useful for developing upper body strength and coordination.
How to do it
- Lie flat on a bench with your feet planted on the ground.
- Hold the barbell with a shoulder-width grip above your chest.
- Lower the barbell behind your head, maintaining control.
- Bring the barbell back to the chest position and press it upward.
- Repeat the pullover and press sequence smoothly.
