The Barbell Bent-Over Row is a strength training exercise that primarily targets the muscles of the back. This exercise is great for developing the upper and lower back, improving posture, and increasing overall upper body strength.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell with an overhand grip.
- Bend at the hips until your torso is almost parallel to the floor, knees slightly bent.
- Pull the barbell towards your lower ribcage, squeezing your shoulder blades together.
- Lower the barbell back to the starting position with control.
- Keep your core engaged and back straight throughout.
