The inverted row with straps is a bodyweight exercise that primarily targets the back muscles. It is executed by pulling the chest up to a set of suspension straps, engaging the upper body to improve strength, especially in the back and biceps, while enhancing core stability.
How to do it
- Set the suspension straps at waist height.
- Lie underneath the straps, grasping each handle with an overhand grip, arms extended.
- Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels, engaging your core.
- Pull your chest towards the handles by bending your elbows until your chest meets the straps.
- Slowly lower back to the starting position while maintaining control.
