The dumbbell straight arm pullover is an upper-body exercise aimed at strengthening the chest, shoulders, and back muscles. It involves extending the arms and moving a dumbbell from behind the head to above the torso, enhancing flexibility and muscle coordination.

How to do it

  1. Lie on a bench with only your upper back supported, feet flat on the floor.
  2. Hold a dumbbell with both hands above your chest, arms extended.
  3. Slowly lower the dumbbell in an arc behind your head, keeping arms straight.
  4. Raise the dumbbell back to the starting position while maintaining a slight bend in the elbows.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
