The Band Y Raise is an effective exercise for strengthening the shoulder muscles and improving shoulder stability. It primarily targets the deltoids, enhancing shoulder function and posture.

How to do it

  1. Anchor a resistance band at a low point.
  2. Stand holding the band with both hands, arms straight.
  3. Lift your arms diagonally upward into a 'Y' position.
  4. Pause briefly at the top, then lower with control.
  5. Repeat for desired reps, keeping core engaged.
