The Palm-Up Palm-Down Rotation exercise involves rotating the arms while keeping them raised to shoulder height. It primarily enhances shoulder flexibility and strengthens the shoulders by engaging the rotator cuff muscles.
How to do it
- Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Extend your arms out to the sides at shoulder height, palms facing up.
- Slowly rotate your arms so your palms face down.
- Continue alternating palm orientations in a smooth, controlled manner.
- Maintain a stable core throughout the movement.
