The Band Twist exercise involves standing with a staggered stance while holding a resistance band in a straight line in front of the body. This exercise primarily targets the core, particularly the obliques, by engaging them during the twisting motion.
How to do it
- Secure the resistance band at chest height.
- Stand side-on with feet staggered, holding the band with both hands.
- Rotate your torso away from the anchor point while keeping arms extended.
- Engage the core and control the movement back to start.
- Repeat for desired reps before switching sides.
