The Band Twist exercise involves standing with a staggered stance while holding a resistance band in a straight line in front of the body. This exercise primarily targets the core, particularly the obliques, by engaging them during the twisting motion.

How to do it

  1. Secure the resistance band at chest height.
  2. Stand side-on with feet staggered, holding the band with both hands.
  3. Rotate your torso away from the anchor point while keeping arms extended.
  4. Engage the core and control the movement back to start.
  5. Repeat for desired reps before switching sides.
