The Band Standing Hammer Curl is an upper body exercise that primarily targets the elbow flexors, focusing on building strength and muscle endurance in the arms. It involves holding a resistance band and curling the arms while maintaining a neutral wrist position, which engages the forearms effectively.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, securing the resistance band under both feet.
  2. Hold the band handles with a neutral grip, palms facing each other.
  3. Keep elbows close to the sides, and exhale while curling the handles up toward the shoulders.
  4. Pause at the top for a brief moment, ensuring tension in your biceps.
  5. Inhale and slowly lower the handles back to the starting position.
