Equipment
The Dumbbell Preacher Hammer Curl targets the arm muscles by isolating the biceps on a preacher bench. The neutral grip emphasizes the Brachialis and Brachioradialis, enhancing forearm and elbow flexor strength.
How to do it
- Sit on a Preacher Curl Machine with a dumbbell in each hand, palms facing each other.
- Rest your upper arms on the preacher bench pad.
- Curl the dumbbells by flexing the elbows, keeping the wrists neutral.
- Pause at the top of the curl, then slowly lower the weights back to the starting position.
- Maintain control and avoid swinging the weights.
