The band seated row is a resistance exercise that targets the back, specifically the latissimus dorsi and rhomboids. It improves posture and strengthens the muscles involved in pulling motions, enhancing overall upper body strength and endurance.
How to do it
- Sit on the floor with legs extended and a resistance band secured around your feet.
- Hold the band with both hands, palms facing each other.
- Keep your back straight and pull the band towards your torso, squeezing your shoulder blades together.
- Pause briefly, then slowly release back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
