The band pushdown targets the triceps using a resistance band. This exercise helps in strengthening and toning the upper arms. It's effective for building muscle endurance and can be easily adjusted in intensity by varying the band tension.
How to do it
- Attach a resistance band to a high anchor point.
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding the band handles with elbows at your sides.
- Extend your arms downward by straightening the elbows fully.
- Pause briefly at the bottom, then slowly return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
