Equipment
The Band Push-Up is a variation of the standard push-up that incorporates resistance bands to intensify the workout. This exercise primarily targets the chest, with additional engagement of the shoulders and triceps. It enhances upper body strength and provides resistance throughout the motion.
How to do it
- Wrap a resistance band around your back, holding one end in each hand.
- Get into a push-up position with hands shoulder-width apart, gripping the band.
- Lower your body until your chest nearly touches the floor while maintaining band tension.
- Push back up to the starting position, fully extending your arms.
- Repeat while keeping core engaged and back straight.
