The Band Overhead Side Bend targets the lateral muscles of the torso, particularly focusing on the obliques for improved core strength and flexibility. This exercise helps in developing a strong and stable midsection by engaging the muscles responsible for bending the torso sideways.

How to do it

  1. Attach a resistance band to an overhead anchor.
  2. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding the band with both hands overhead.
  3. Engage your core and slowly bend to one side, keeping arms straight.
  4. Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
  5. Perform the desired number of repetitions.
