The Cross Body Mountain Climber is an intense core exercise that also targets the cardiovascular system. The movement involves alternating knee drives across the body towards the opposite elbow while maintaining a plank position, enhancing both core engagement and stability.
How to do it
- Start in a high plank position, hands shoulder-width apart.
- Keep your core tight and body straight from head to heels.
- Drive your left knee towards your right elbow in a controlled manner.
- Return the left foot to the starting position.
- Quickly drive your right knee towards your left elbow, then return.
