The Band Jackknife Sit-Up is a dynamic core exercise that engages the abdominal muscles intensely. By incorporating a resistance band, this move increases the challenge, providing enhanced strength and stabilization benefits for the core.

How to do it

  1. Secure a resistance band to a stable object and attach the other end to your ankles.
  2. Lie on your back with your legs extended and arms by your sides.
  3. Engage your core and lift your upper body and knees toward each other, forming a V-shape.
  4. Pause briefly at the top, then slowly return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
