The Band Jackknife Sit-Up is a dynamic core exercise that engages the abdominal muscles intensely. By incorporating a resistance band, this move increases the challenge, providing enhanced strength and stabilization benefits for the core.
How to do it
- Secure a resistance band to a stable object and attach the other end to your ankles.
- Lie on your back with your legs extended and arms by your sides.
- Engage your core and lift your upper body and knees toward each other, forming a V-shape.
- Pause briefly at the top, then slowly return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps.
