The Leg Raise Oblique Crunch is a core exercise that targets the oblique muscles and rectus abdominis through a combination of side crunches and leg raises. It enhances core strength and stability, especially benefiting the lateral trunk muscles for improved rotation and side bending.
How to do it
- Lie on your side with legs stacked and slightly bent.
- Support your head with one hand, and place the other on the floor.
- Simultaneously lift your legs and crunch your upper body towards them.
- Squeeze your obliques and hold for a moment; then lower back slowly.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions before switching sides.
