Balance Ball

The crunch on a stability ball helps to strengthen the core by targeting the abdominal muscles. Performing this exercise on a ball increases the range of motion and adds an element of instability, requiring greater engagement of the core stabilizers.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the stability ball and walk your feet forward until your lower back rests on the ball.
  2. Cross your arms over your chest and engage your core.
  3. Lift your upper body towards your pelvis, squeezing your abs.
  4. Lower back down to the starting position with control.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
