Crunch (On Stability Ball)
Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The crunch on a stability ball helps to strengthen the core by targeting the abdominal muscles. Performing this exercise on a ball increases the range of motion and adds an element of instability, requiring greater engagement of the core stabilizers.
How to do it
- Sit on the stability ball and walk your feet forward until your lower back rests on the ball.
- Cross your arms over your chest and engage your core.
- Lift your upper body towards your pelvis, squeezing your abs.
- Lower back down to the starting position with control.
