The Band Horizontal Pallof Press is an anti-rotation exercise that targets the core, particularly the obliques. It helps develop stability and strength in the trunk while preventing unwanted rotation during functional movements.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, parallel to the anchor point.
- Hold a resistance band with both hands centered on your chest.
- Press the band straight out in front of you while maintaining core tension.
- Hold briefly, resist rotation, and return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch sides.
