Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The medicine ball lying leg raise is a core-strengthening exercise that targets the lower abdominals. By holding a medicine ball between the feet, the exercise increases resistance and enhances muscle activation in the core, lower back, and hip flexors.
How to do it
- Lie flat on your back with your arms at your sides for support.
- Hold a medicine ball securely between your feet.
- Engage your core and lift your legs vertically until they are perpendicular to the floor.
- Slowly lower your legs back to the starting position without touching the ground.
