The Band Half Kneeling Chop is a dynamic exercise targeting the core, particularly the obliques, by working across different planes of motion. It helps improve rotational strength and stability, essential for athletic performance and functional movements.
How to do it
- Start in a half-kneeling position with one knee down and the opposite foot forward.
- Attach a resistance band to a high anchor point and hold it with both hands above the opposite shoulder.
- Engage your core and pull the band down diagonally across your body.
- Finish the movement by bringing your hands down to the outside of your forward knee.
- Slowly return to the starting position, maintaining control of the band.
