The Band Assisted Pull-Up is an exercise that helps improve upper body strength by providing support to complete pull-ups. It primarily targets the back and arm muscles, specifically aiding those working towards unassisted pull-ups.
How to do it
- Secure a resistance band to a pull-up bar.
- Place one foot or knee into the band for support.
- Grip the bar with an overhand grip, shoulder-width apart.
- Pull yourself up until your chin is above the bar.
- Lower yourself back down to the starting position with control.
