Assisted Close-Grip Underhand Chin-Up
Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The assisted close-grip underhand chin-up focuses on strengthening the upper back and arm muscles using a supportive machine. It's ideal for beginners who are working towards mastering unassisted chin-ups. By using an underhand grip, this exercise targets the biceps more intensely, while the assisted mechanism provides helpful resistance for controlled movement.
How to do it
- Step onto the platform of the assisted chin-up machine.
- Grab the handles with an underhand grip, palms facing you.
- Engage your core and pull yourself up until your chin is above the bar.
- Lower yourself back down with control to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
