The straight leg wiper exercise is a core movement that challenges stability and engages the obliques and rectus abdominis. It involves maintaining core tension while rotating the legs from side to side, mimicking the motion of a windshield wiper.

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back with arms extended outwards for support.
  2. Lift your legs straight up towards the ceiling, keeping them together.
  3. Engage your core and slowly lower your legs to one side, keeping them straight.
  4. Return to the center and repeat on the other side.
  5. Continue alternating sides while maintaining core stability.
