The wide hand push-up is a variation of the standard push-up that places greater emphasis on the chest muscles, particularly widening the stance to engage more of the Pectoralis Major. This exercise also helps in enhancing upper body strength and stability.

How to do it

  1. Start in a plank position with your hands placed wider than shoulder-width apart.
  2. Keep your body straight from head to heels.
  3. Lower your body until your chest almost touches the ground.
  4. Push through your palms to return to the starting position.
  5. Ensure your elbows do not flare out excessively during the movement.
