The weighted exercise ball wall squat is a compound strength exercise targeting the lower body. By leaning against an exercise ball placed on the wall, you ensure correct form and stability, engaging the quadriceps effectively while also working on balance.
How to do it
- Place an exercise ball between your lower back and a wall, feet shoulder-width apart.
- Hold a weight plate close to your chest.
- Slowly squat down by bending your knees, keeping your back pressed against the ball.
- Descend until your thighs are parallel to the floor.
- Push through your heels to return to the starting position.
