The Weighted Decline Sit-Up intensifies the traditional sit-up by adding resistance and performing it on a decline bench. This exercise targets the core muscles, particularly enhancing abdominal strength and endurance.
How to do it
- Secure your feet under the bench's foot pads.
- Hold a weight plate against your chest and lie back on the decline bench.
- Engage your core and lift your torso up towards your knees.
- Lower back down with control to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps.
