The W to Y Superman exercise focuses on strengthening the muscles of the back, shoulders, and glutes. It involves lying face down and moving the arms from a W position to an overhead Y position, simulating a superman flight pose for improved posture and stability.

How to do it

  1. Lie face down with arms bent at 90 degrees in a W shape.
  2. Engage your core and lift your chest, thighs, and arms off the ground.
  3. Slowly extend your arms overhead into a Y position, keeping them lifted.
  4. Pause briefly and return to the W position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
