The V-Up with Clap is a core exercise that targets the abdominal muscles. It involves a simultaneous lift of the upper and lower body to form a 'V' shape while clapping hands under or above the legs, increasing intensity and coordination.
How to do it
- Lie flat on your back with arms extended overhead and legs straight.
- Engage your core and lift your legs and torso simultaneously to form a 'V' shape.
- As you reach the top position, clap your hands under or above your legs.
- Lower yourself back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
- Repeat the movement for the desired number of reps.
