Equipment
The Twist Turn Slam is a dynamic bodyweight exercise that targets your core and improves coordination. By simulating the motion of slamming an imaginary ball, it engages your obliques and enhances rotational power, making it perfect for building strength and agility.
How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and knees slightly bent, ready to pivot.
- Engage your core and extend your arms overhead as if holding a ball.
- Twist your torso to one side, pivot on your back foot, and mimic the motion of slamming the ball down by bringing your arms sharply across your body.
- Return to the starting position and repeat on the opposite side, focusing on maintaining control and engaging your core for maximum rotational power.
- Continue alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining a steady and controlled pace.
