The Suspender Hip Abduction is a suspension exercise targeting the hip abductors and core. It promotes strength and stability by challenging balance while the legs move apart from the midline of the body, using controlled motion and suspension straps.

How to do it

  1. Start lying face up with heels in suspension straps, legs together.
  2. Engage core and extend legs straight, lifting hips slightly off the ground.
  3. Slowly abduct legs apart while maintaining stability in the core and hips.
  4. Pause briefly when legs are fully abducted, then return to starting position.
  5. Repeat for desired number of repetitions, keeping movement controlled.
