Suspended Push-Up
Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The suspended push-up is an advanced upper body exercise using gymnastics rings. It enhances strength and stability in the chest, shoulders, and core by requiring significant control and balance. The instability of the rings engages stabilizing muscles more intensely.
How to do it
- 1. Adjust the gymnastics rings to hang slightly above the ground.
- 2. Grasp the rings and extend your body into a high plank position.
- 3. Lower your body by bending the elbows, keeping the core tight.
- 4. Push back up to the starting position, maintaining control and balance throughout.
- 5. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
